Projectiles fire and report hits. HP changes from hits go through one place. Abilities are data; extra fire modes are mostly config. Death emits an event the rest of the game can subscribe to. Stray shots clear on reset. Still no one to fight yet. Next is giving the other side a brain and a path to walk on.
